To ease testing (and soon-to-commence writing of 0.9.5 Release Notes), here's a list of platforms that current mcclim from CVS is supposed to run or not run on:

* sbcl: works well.

* cmucl:

* openmcl: loads and starts up, runs demos in the 1.1 prerelease snapshot (tested on x86-64 and 10.4). (Andreas Fuchs)

* clisp: loads, starts up, not heavily tested though. Doesn't work with any of the CLXs bundled with CLISP, use Telent CLX. (Troels Henriksen)

* allegro ANSI mode: loads, runs demos (Andreas Fuchs)

* allegro modern mode: unsupported, doesn't load. (Andreas Fuchs)

* SCL ANSI mode:

* SCL lower case mode:

* lispworks: Doesn't load on LispWorks 5.0.1 personal, breaks in fix-lispworks.lisp. Might work in earlier versions. (Jack Unrue)

Testers: please add your name and results in the above table, and correct the status if necessary; for now, please stick to the free-text format. Feel free to take care of things when that does not work.
